At the 2009 SHOT Show in Orlando, FL., Alan Probst and the TV show "All Outdoors w/ Alan Probst" were again recognized as one of the top programs running on the Sportsman Channel.

Alan, who won the coveted Sportsman of the Year award in 2008 was once again nominated in this prestigious category but lost to Mike Avery who was chosen as 2009 Sportsman of the Year by the channel. The "All Outdoors w/ Alan Probst" TV show did fair better in the trophy category though by winning the "Best Graphics/Visual Arts" category which is a category that awards the show with the best graphic and visual art approach to their programming.

During Alan's acceptance speech, he recognized that the Sportsman Channel and its employees are and have been a great part of his success as an outdoor programming producer. He followed that up by personally thanking his sponsors for the support and trust that they have given him in his quest to be one of the top outdoor programs in the industry.
